We worked with Stephen on both the sale and purchase of our new home. I can’t say enough good things about him. His biggest attribute in my opinion is that he listens. He never pushed and always had our best interests in mind. This market isn’t easy to buy in but he helped us get into a home we love so much and I’m forever grateful for his sound advice along the way. Stephen simply exceeded my expectations. As a first time home buyer and buying a home during a pandemic with soaring housing prices, Stephen was there every step of the way. Stephen truly cares about his clients and their needs when it comes to helping them find a home. He helped us find the right house in the right neighborhood for the right price. He was always on our side working to make our house purchase as simple and successful as possible. The best part about working with Stephen was that he was always more focused on answering our questions, giving us honest feedback and advice, and finding homes that met our needs than he was on closing a deal. From the first house showing to the final signature, Stephen was with us every step of the way. We are so grateful to Stephen for helping us find our home and would recommend him to anyone.

I don’t know if I can put into words exactly how amazing working with Stephen is, but I will try. I reached out to Stephen on June 3 just to have him take a look at our home and see what he thought we could sell for, and what he would recommend us do that could help us get the most value from our home. Stephen came to see our home and gave us a list of recommendations that seemed rather daunting, but I knew what he was suggesting would only help us get the best value for our home. We embarked on a mission to declutter, update our kitchen, do other maintenance items around the house. I mentioned to Stephen that we had a hail claim we never acted on. He suggested I see what they could do. The insurance company was able to reissue our check, but I was not sure how we would find a contractor to complete the work in time to get our house on the market on July 9th. Stephen found us a contractor who was willing to help and even came out to do the work in less than a week. The roofing and siding came down to the wire and we had to push the date we went on the market to the 10th, but we got it done! Meanwhile Stephen took us to showings on a new home, and was able to help us to find the perfect home, and helped us get our new home for $5,000 under asking, which is completely unheard of in this market! While we were out of town on vacation, Stephen worked with the other agents to accept showings and kept us informed of everything, and met with us late at night to go through the offers on the phone. He explained everything perfectly and helped us identify the best offer to sell our home. In the end, we ended up selling our home for $15,000 over asking. It seems like the story would be done, but we had one last curtain call where Stephen stepped up again to help. A week and a half before closing, we had an issue with our hose bib leaking and we got water into our home. We ended up having to cut out part of the wall, reinsulate, and put up new sheet rock. Stephen was so patient with us during this time, and even came out to help assess the situation and was even willing to help us do the work to repair the wall if we couldn’t find someone to do it for us. I could say so much more because there is just so much that he did, but this is already pretty long. I can tell you that while I felt I had a positive experience with the purchase of our first home, it does not even come close to comparing to the experience we had with Stephen. He is absolutely amazing, and you will be so happy if you choose to have Stephen help you buy or sell your home.

We truly enjoyed working with Stephen to find our forever home in Mound. He was so patient and flexible as our search took almost 10 months to find the right fit. He was very responsive, knowledgeable and helpful working through all the details of both buying and selling. We were able to sell our home in SLP for more than we listed and feel grateful to have found a lake property we can make our home. Highly recommend Stephen if you’re a first time home buyer or looking for your forever home!

Stephen Anderson assisted me on two occasions. The first in the sale of my home. His expertise was prevalent prior to getting the home on the market where he made suggestions for upgrades and staging as well as things that were not as important. He is a fantastic resource for outsourcing work as well. Due to this foresite and attention to detail we were able to get the home on the market and sold within two days of being on the market for top dollar.
The second occasion was when I was purchasing my present home. As we were definitely in a sellers market and had made several offers on homes that were going for well over listing price. When it seemed like we were going to find the best fit for me. Stephen remained positive and continued to work hard and suggested we remain as an alternate when the home I really wanted was accepted by another buyer. Under Stephen's advisement we pulled out of an offer to put our hat back in to my eventual home! I was able to get an excellent property in the right neighborhood with equity, the perfect fit.

Stephen helped us sell our starter house and buy our forever home! With his guidance we got an extra $20k from what we originally thought, and he helped so much with the financing recommendation and the negotiation on what the sellers had to get fixed after the inspection report came through. I'd hire him again, but I think that will be 25 years from now when we downsize after the kids move out. Even after both closings, he's still been helpful about finding us contractors for some work. Great follow through!

Stephen went so far beyond "above & beyond" during my house hunt. I was searching in the cities while living 3 hours away so I relied heavily on Stephen to be my eyes.
